Best alternative to Lidl running shoes?

How many miles did he get out of these shoes out of interest? I have found Hoka last the longest so although the initial outlay is more, they last much longer so are better value overall, again a lot more support to minimise injuries too. You can get them for 50-60 new if you do some googling.0

I'm still using the pair of Lidl running shoes I've had for a few years now. They've suited me fine for street jogging and Parkruns, but now need replacing. I went to Lidl today meaning to get a pair of their new special offer, 'premium running shoes', but changed my mind because of doubts that the soles were a bit too hard and not as flexible. I'd be interested though to know how any buyers found them.

Decathlon usually hits the same sweet spot for price and comfort. Their Kalenji running shoes stay cheap, hold up well for casual use, and come in lots of sizes. If he liked the Lidl pairs, these feel like the closest budget friendly swap without hunting for restocks.
