IVA completion

It can take a few months for the IVA company to send your certificate of completion, you can always ask them for an update.

If I remember correctly it took a while for my certificate of completion to arrive. Also took a few weeks for my details to come off the insolvency register. Still have accounts showing as open on my credit file. As others have mentioned on my other posts, it can take quite some time. But as gd55 said, you could always ask for an update.
Also, how do you feel being free from the IVA? It's such a good feeling ain't it?!0 -
My timeline: IVA was completed 25 November, certificate dated 10 January. The entry should come off the Insolvency Register three months after the completion certificate is issued, but I found I had to send them the certificate myself as the IVA company appeared not to have done it.
There's a good link in the stickies about checking everything is straight on your credit file, it's from the DebtCamel website. My debt-free diary: Go your own way

Once your certificate of completion arrives, it will be under whelming to say the least, mine was a single side of A4 paper with my name on it, and a simple sentence saying my IVA was complete.......that was it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
