hi
i did google but didnt get an exact answer, I am employed and wondering how the tax issue is sorted with having to pay tax on anything over £1k. can it be as simple as ring the HMRC and tell them how much ive been paid in interest and pay over the phone? , looking at the 1 year ford money at 3.3% and just dump everything in there instead of messing about with money all over the place. ive never gone over the 1k allowance so have no idea how tax is paid
thanks

Ford will advise HMRC about the interest they pay you, and HMRC will adjust your tax code if necessary....1
