Uni students - P/T job whilst studying.

Options
Are students allowed to work P/T whilst studying at Uni, without impacting their living loan? I’ve heard conflicting information. Thanks in advance.

Yes they can. The only exceptions would be if the university made clear that term time working wasn’t allowed or if the demands of the course meant it wasn’t possible, either due to workload or the times that a student needed to be available.

I know that Oxford, Cambridge and Durham used to frown on term time working. Medical students and allied subjects are so intense that it may not be possible for term time learning, on the job experience and a part time job.
