Hello,
I did an excel file to check the costs for the various options, as I capped very late, thus I am on quite a high unit rate fix.
I am usually sure of things like this, but after chatting with EDF, I would like another opinion please.
The EDF person (via chat) did their best to dissuade me from changing, usually I put this down to their script reading and churning out the company stance, but they were pretty focused on my calculations not being right.

Any input would be most welcome.

Looks like the correct decision to me - you'll pay marginally higher Standing charges but if the cost of gas is 10p rather than 13p and 35p rather than 40p for electric that must be better for you.1

I get the same as you for the Fix and SVR Capped tariffs.
