Land Registry expedite timescales

Hi all,

Following my previous post regarding the charges to the house we are purchasing, the creditor was tracked down last week, they have given a redemption figure, Land Registry has given them a requisition. We have been told that the solicitor has requested that the Land Registry forms are expedited. (B4 is at Land Registry).

Does anyone know the current timescale for expedited requests at Land Registry?

Can anyone please explain what this all means? (I teach 4 year olds - this is all a bit beyond me!)

Many thanks

You could post on the dedicated Land Registry thread to get a response directly from them.  However, I believe that an expedited application means that the Land Registry will look at it within 10 working days of submission, but of course the application needs to be "in order", before the application can be completed.

If Land Registry have raised a requisition, this suggests that the application was made but was not in order, so Land Registry have asked the lodging solicitor for more evidence/information.

Thank you very much for this, I have just found the thread and requested information.

Yes, there was a question which I believe is now being dealt with.
