What stage is this at?

Hi - have read the stickies for newbies and I'm still a little in the dark at what stage the parking claim process is at and what I should do.

Have received letter from QDR (doesn't say letter before claim or anything like that as title) but further down, says payment is now overdue. if debt is not repaid in full within 14 days of the date of letter, client (zzps) may consider county court proceedings against you. They say they previously wrote to me - I don't remember that, but they may have done.
The communication from ZZPS previously I have ignored - appealing to hospital previously for others hasn't worked so I didn't do that.
This is a lease vehicle so they obtained my details via DVLA/leasing finance company.
The parking location was around a hospital, parking in a 'non parking area' and there are 2 separate tickets from 2019 and 2022.
The total is double the original parking tickets amount.
I'm in NI - have read the threads but don't know if that makes a difference at this point?

There's a lot of info when you search QDR, and I'm unclear whether they're likely to proceed for this point? Should I just pay to save hassle of court?

Thanks.

Did you see this bit in the NEWBIE sticky: -
Q - ''I'm in Scotland/NI, so is the advice different?''

Have a read of that.  That letter looks like a debt collector letter as it is using 14 days not 30 days for a real letter before/of claim.

Debt collectors have no power whatsoever save to send out poor quality bog-paper.
The fourth post of the NEWBIES explains why it is safe to ignore debt collectors anywhere in the UK.

In NI the keeper cannot be held liable, so unless the lease/hire company does something stupid like paying and then charging you for their mistake, you can continue to ignore this.

You should always complain to the landowner and your MP though.

No-one in NI ever pays a PPC. No appeal, no nothing.  IGNORE.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
