Debt companies do not start court claims, that would be the parking company - who was it?  You now need to send a Data Rectification Notice (albeit a little late) to the DPO of the parking company advising them of your correct address for service and requiring them to ERASE your old data and advise any and all of their agents and contractors.  Then you need to read the NEWBIE sticky (one of the announcements on the first page of the forum called: -
**NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW? **READ THESE FAQS FIRST!** Thankyou!

In there you will find advice and information about applying for a set-aside (well two actually) and unless they are linked you will likely have to pay two fees of £275 - unless you get help with fees due to being on benefits.

You also need to contact the CCBC (ask Auntie Google for the phone number) and find out who sent the N1 claim forms, when and to what address.

  • Thanks, the debt company start the court claims. The debt company send a letter to me in July at my new address but in august the company file claim at two addresses

Debt recovery firms can't start parking claims.

Solicitors can, such as DCBLegal. Was it them?

No they didn't, because they simply can't!

Which parking firm raised the original parking charges?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
