Hello,
So I've got to a point where I just cannot continue the way I am but I'm really unsure about what my next step should be.
I Currently get paid £1400 per month (I was promised a rise in Sept, back in March but haven't heard anything from by boss about that since)
I have the following debts:
Natwest cc £3690
Natwest od £250
Nationwide cc £957
Nationwide od £650
Nationwide loan £5800
Mbna cc £750
Halifax cc £750
Fluid cc £615
Total
£13,957
I'm currently paying £500 a month towards these debts but with interest charges it's not really making a dent at all and I feel like I'm throwing money away and getting nowhere at all.
Mortgage with my partner £72000
Last week I applied for breathing space on all my accounts, through stepchange, without really realising what I was doing, just going through the stepchange process as it appeared on the website.
A DMP seems like the most sensible plan for me but I'm honestly terrified of having to deal with another barrage of letters like with the breathing space.

Hi Floral. Have you done an soa? Do you know exactly where all your money goes and are there any changes you can make to help? Could you do any 0% transfers to help pay it down quicker?
can you remind your boss about the pay rise (I know it’s hard)?
Extra good luck, you have taken the first steps. With determination anything is possible and you can reverse this. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
