Hi All, first post on the forum!!
I have recently got a 0% card to pay off my Argos card but also want to pay my wife’s off as well but they won’t let me do it , is there an obvious way around this that I am
missing ?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I'm guessing that your wife's Argos card is separate from yours, that is, she doesn't have a card connected to your own Argos account.
Is the 'they' who won't let you the new credit card issuer?
Could your wife also apply for her own 0% balance transfer credit card? She may have to clear the balance herself if they won't let you do it.

A money transfer card would allow you to put cash into your bank and pay off both. Did you tell them the second card was in your wife's name? If so they will know now, in the future you shouldn't tell them unless directly asked, provided you are willing to take on the debt of course. As above, a BT card in her name will be needed now, or another card that will take Argos transfers
