Fix Tariff - Energy Price Guarantee
Recently Martin put out a video re how a fix would be affected by the price guarantee. He talked about how people on fixes would potentially get 4p a kilowatt hour for elec and 17p for gas (as long as did not take you below guarantee. What was less clear is how standing charges affect this. If your standing charge is lower than the price guarantee but the per kilowatt hour price is higher does the guarantee just apply to the kilowatt hour price for those on fixes?
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

From reading Martin's tweets it sounds like Standing Charges are not changing and will stay as is (and will go up on October, but as you are fixed it wont hit you), it's only the unit rates that are changing.
