Need opinions whether to change suppliers

Hi all

So confused here. Utility warehouse are just a nightmare. We have one mobile phone left with them that we are going to leave when the contract is up. We are paying £37.44 for broadband which I think is so expensive. We are also with them for gas and electric.

Now I’m confused whether I should switch gas and electric. It says we won’t be getting their best deal if we don’t have at least 2 of there services. BUT in some articles I have read, no energy supplier is better than another.

We are on a 29.1p fixed rate electric and 7.67p fixed gas rate, Pre payment. Moving to monthly direct debit is not an option due to financial reasons.

So if anyone can help me I would be so grateful. The broadband I can obviously switch but they are telling me to stick with them etc etc for the best rate

It’s stressing me out whether to actually believe them or if I’m just being spun a line. I need people who are real consumers

What would be your advice?

Many thanks 🙂

These figures are very close to the current SVT which will go up on 1st October to the new EPG rate (~34p & 10.4p). How long is your fix for?

Gold is one of their variable tariff so will be going up in October.
Their pricing is 0.5% off the cap / guarantee with no other services and 2.5% with one additional service. Other discounts apply with more services..

  • So how come it does say fixed on my
    smart meter and bill?

    Best ask them that one.

What Energy tariffs do you offer?

Green Fixed tariff - our fixed rate tariff. It protects you against price rises for the length of the contract. Available if you take three or four qualifying services. You’ll benefit from 100% renewable electricity.

Double Gold tariff – our cheapest variable rate tariff. Available if you take three or four qualifying services. You’ll benefit from 100% renewable electricity.

Gold tariff - our second cheapest variable rate tariff. Available if you take two qualifying services.

Value tariff - our standard variable rate tariff. Available if you only take energy as a service.
