Registry Cleaner

Can anyone recommend a Free to use Registry Cleaner please?
I have used C. Cleaner for some time and it does a good job, but have heard and read that their Registry Cleaner is not so good. Also loads of them have their own built-in spyware. One I have found on the web is euser.free registry cleaner. Is this OK. Any information appreciated.

I have used euser for months, no problems and very easy to use, i did'nt use c.cleaner because of some of the adverse comments.

CCleaner has some reg cleaning options and is excellent for getting rid of rubbish and temporary files. It's been around years, spyware free, and comes highly recommended, oh and it's freeware. :)

You could try iobit advanced windows care, there is a free version.
Found it picks up a bit more than ccleaner

I also have Advanced Window Care and C Cleaner both good but AWC better cleans all the junk away.

I've asked this question before, but had no verifiable results: What advantage do you think that using a registry cleaner will bring? Will it make running things faster? (Really? Much?) Or does it just free up small amounts of disk space within the Registry that can cannot easily be reclaimed, and anyway is irrelevant for most of us with gigabytes of free disk space already?

There is always the possible danger that a required registry key may inadvertently be removed, as well...

The best way to speed a system up that's been installed for several years, if you have the time and energy, is to back everything up, wipe the hard disc, and reinstall from scratch. Reg cleaners will remove some junk - but there are so many other items all over the place that will remain.

Smack me if I am wrong but Reg cleaners do just that if you want speed improvement then other things need to be done. Take a look at Advanced Windows Care it is good and has speeded up my sluggish laptop bigtime.

I don't think you read my post properly,I have had C. Cleaner for years but there are too many adverse comments regarding the RegistryCleaner part. I think I will try the Advanced Window Care system.
    Thanks for all replies.
