Octopus are really good at billing , something I ve never had with any other supplier . Its worth it for that just to be able to see exact billing every time you send them your 2 readings. Six monthly billing is not good enough for me nowadays
Don t forget that £100 referral link which gets you a free £50 just for switching so try and find a friend to get you to send you theirs via WhatsApp or Facebook2 -
I've decided to take the plunge and switch over to them... doing as recommended by others.. dropping on their SVR tariff at first then i've got to apply to swap over to their Go tariff for now. I'm not sure if i'll get access to their intelligent tariff yet as i dont have a wall charger - the website seems to say i need one where as the guy i spoke to on the phone says i dont but we shall see.. either way its a win win i think..Cant swap untill 9th October though as that when my current fix ends, i just hope i don't some how get screwed over by the price increase next month, I've decided to put the gas on their tariff too but i cant remember how much he quoted me for the gas KWH0

Not sure whether i should try and get over to Octopus ASAP and fix on their EV tariffs before 1st of october or just let my current fix with EON expire and switch over on 9th October with risk their tarrifs could be higher (or lower ) depending on the cost cap.
Thoughts anyone? Thanks0 -
I managed to switch & get onto the Octopus Go tariff I less than a week ( I already had a Smets2 smart meter).I am now on a 12 month Octopus Go faster tariff which is fixed for a year ( and is below the forecast EPG rates for total elec use).So yes why not go for it1
