Gatwick Airport PCN using Purple parking

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can help me.
I used Purple parking at Gatwick airport (South Terminal), parking in Sofitel Hotel at 9:30ish am, then went on holiday, returning 10 days later.
Today (a month later), I get a PCN in the post, stating that there was a contrevention of the drop off zone, with the fine being £100, reduced to £15 if I pay within 14 days as it is my first offence.
The first picture, clearly shows me driving in at 9:32am. The second photo shows a person in a high vis jacket driving the car out, at 10:45am (after I had checked onto the flight).
I have compalined to Purple Parking, but thier complaint form is only online, is tempremental (so it is not clear to me if the complaint got sent), and they state that they are busy, and will respond in 35 days.
Now as I genuinly didn't contrevene anything (and didn't use the drop-off zone), I am thinking of also appealing to NCP. However, the defence I would usually have is that I left my car at Purple parking, and it is not me in the car upon leaving. However, all the guides say not to admit it was you driving. Technically, it was me driving in, but to a hotel car park, it wasn't me driving out.
Now I am left confused - do I appeal to NCP or not? If so, what wording template do I use?

Don't tell anyone who was driving.
If they don't know who was driving then they can only chase the keeper.
In this case the keeper is not the Registered Keeper of the vehicle. The keeper at the time of the alleged transgression is whoever you left the car keys with - i.e. Purple Parking.2 -
This is simple to appeal because there is no keeper liability. Easy peasy...
But as long as the £15 is not a typo, I am fascinated and I could use this for Government evidence if you are happy to show a redacted photo of it please:Today (a month later), I get a PCN in the post, stating that there was a contrevention of the drop off zone, with the fine being £100, reduced to £15 if I pay within 14 days as it is my first offence.Discount is £15 only?
Image please?! Cover your name/address & VRM.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Which bit of "DON'T TELL THEM WHO WAS DRIVING" don't you understand? NCP have no idea who is in the photos. It is only to be used as an ANPR camera. It is not to be used for any other evidential purpose. If you have already told them who is driving you have probably made things difficult for yourself.
You appeal as the registered keeper, not the driver. They cannot hold the registered keeper liable unless the registered keeper admitted to being the driver. Just look for other Gatwick or Heathrow airport appeals on here and use one of those templates to submit your initial appeal to NCP and if they reject that, use one of the other more comprehensive ones for your POPLA appeal.
As long as you have not admitted to being the driver, you cannot be held liable as the keeper.2 -

Hmm! If they are now reducing the amount to £15 if paid within 14 days I suspect they have been leant on over the ridiculous way this scam operates, but you still don't pay these idiots a cent.

Thanks for posting that.
Shows £15 is a sufficient deterrent. That'll be used to talk to the Government.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
