Hi, If the electric price cap is 34kwh, standing charge of 46, why have EDF said my new tariff will be, 35-98kwh and standing charge 48-98, can't get an answer of EDF

The same as you were told when you asked the question on another thread a couple of minutes ago.
That is a national average for direct debit customers. It varies based on region and payment type. Let me guess, you are either in North Wales or on Merseyside.5 -
