These are actual reads, we have a smart meter.

The boiler is on, I meant not heating as it's warm, Gas was £5 for the month. We have an electric shower.

Ignore all the bits about it meters in flats and skip to the "Then unplug ..." bit.

If you switch literally everything off, does the IMP light stop flashing (and, possibly, then come on as a constant red light)?

If you turn then apply a known load, does the IMP light flash at the speed you'd expect?

Which one is the IMP light? We have 2 that flash red, one on LAN and the other by the keypad.

The metrology light
This light can be found to the right of the keypad and will most likely be continuously flashing which indicates there’s power going through the meter. All electricity going through the meter is measured, which is represented by the flashing of the LED. The meter is measuring this in kilowatt hours (kWh) and 3,200 flashes equal 1 kWh.
