The same as protecting personal cash at UK bank over £85K: move the excess to a different bank.

If you are a sole trader make sure your business account is with a different organisation to your personal accounts, otherwise you will be limited to just one claim.0

If you have got £billions like a pension fund manager the only way I know is to buy UK bonds.guruess said:Any thoughts on how best to protect business cash at UK bank over £85K ?
The Government will never run out of £ because they have got their own printer.
And if the £ aren't worth much, that won't matter to you as your liabilities are in £, whatever they are worth.
Hence those with £billions had to buy bonds when the yield was less than retail savings accounts. Its the only case I know where the small saver gets a better deal than the big saver.0
