3 Claims in 5 years, household insurance

Hi
I need to change my household insurance (buildings and contents) as I am going to be leaving the country for a while (hubby got secondment). When ringing round for landlords insurance (cos we'll be letting the house) we are finding it tricky to get insurance as we have had 3 genuine claims in the last 5 years, total claimed isn't over £1500. Does anyone know of an insurer who can help us?
If we can't get a quote, is it an option to reverse the last claim? - it was only settled at the beginning of this month. If I'd have know it was going to cause such problems I'd have just paid for it up front.
