Just checked My Account and the EPG rates are now showing when Change Tariff is selected.
Standing charges in South Scotland are exactly the same as was proposed for 1st October under the old scheme.
Gas down from 14.704p to 10.277p (4.427p)
Electricity down from 51.61p to 33.76 (17.85p)

I am on the Long Term May 24v4 fix and the only element above the EPG rates is the electricity unit charge, 34.85p as opposed to 33.76p
I am now waiting with bated breath for EDF to notify me of the 1.09p reduction !

I'm on gas only with EDF - I would save ~ £105pa by dropping onto SVR from my two year fix - but the info. I got on chat the other day suggests they will still apply the exit fee of £100 -until that is clarified ,no move for me.0

According to EDF fixes above the EPG rates should drop by the 4.xx pence with a floor of the new cap.brewerdave said:I'm on gas only with EDF - I would save ~ £105pa by dropping onto SVR from my two year fix - but the info. Your fix will remain for its original term at the new discounted rate or EPG cap.
It would only be if you EXIT the fix and move to the SVR that would incur a fee.0 -
Did you find that explanation on the EDF site ? Looked earlier but didn't see it .The_Fat_Controller said:

@brewerdave go to this page,
https://www.edfenergy.com/latest-news-government-announcement
Scroll down and open "I'm on a fixed tariff. What should I do?"1 -
@The_Fat_Controller - doesn't quite read that way to me -
"If you're on one of our fixed tariffs there is nothing you need to do right now. Customers on fixed tariffs will benefit from similar discounts subject to a floor. We're still working out how this is going to work and will update the information here. We'll update you when we know more.
Thanks for your patience at this time."
Hopefully will be clarified soon !0 -

I'm not getting the new EPG rates in my account. On the Change Tariff page I still can't the "can't change tariff" message and on the Tariff Details page it lists my current variable rates and then the pre-EPG 1st Oct rates.0
