B Gas moved supplier on fixed tariff
I am on a fixed tariff for gas and electricity with BG until May 23. I received an email yesterday (13/9) advising that my energy moved to my new supplier on 11/9 - but I have not requested a switch! Why would I when I'm on a fixed tariff until next year?
I have received nothing from my "new supplier" (EON according to BG) and I'm now awaiting a call back from "sales complaints" to sort it out.
Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and whether it's an attempt to get out of fixed tariffs?

No, it is just an erroneous transfer, they happen when someone gets the MPAN/MPRN wrong on a switch and the wrong customer gets moved.Ask BG to treat this as an erroneous transfer and they should sort it all out for you.
