Sent defence to court but still given a CCJ

Hi, I recently responded to a claim form following the advice on the newbie thread.
Acknowledged the claim online within 14 days
Sent my response based on the template to the
email address and received an acknowledgment email (automated) from them. However I can see a CCJ has been added to my credit note today. Is there any advice as to how I can handle this?

I can confirm the reference on the credit file note is the same as the above court reference0

Contact the CCBC. We have recently seen a spate of coque-ups where things haven't been processed properly. You may need to produce a draft court order to have put in front of a judge asking for the CCJ to be set aside and the clock reset due to maladministration.
You will need to include proof that your defence was received. Sometimes they aren't acknowledged if sent outside office working hours.
Complain to your MP and the Secretary of State for Justice as well.
Note that the ministry of justice stated priorities are to "reduce re-offending and protect the public, to provide access to justice, to increase confidence in the justice system, and uphold people's civil liberties".

The CCBC paid compensation to one poster where they did this. Just complain and attach your evidence of defence and acknowledgement.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I spoke with someone on the phone at CCBC who advised that if I emailed the main email address with the words URGENT FOR MANAGER in the subject this would be dealt with more quickly than the 10 days standard. I received a response this AM saying that the had not processed the defense in time and would need to refer it to a District Judge to advise as to how to proceed which would take 2-4 weeks.
2 weeks is clearly fine but the back end of the 4 weeks is past the deadline to pay the CCJ in 1 month. I will raise a complaint regardless but will wait for 2 weeks to see if this has been resolved before any further action.0 -
That is fine, you don't need to worry about the timescales,, forget about paying it, what will happen is the CCJ will be set aside and process "restarted"breenandy said:I spoke with someone on the phone at CCBC who advised that if I emailed the main email address with the words URGENT FOR MANAGER in the subject this would be dealt with more quickly than the 10 days standard.
