I opened an ISA for my elderly mum but made no deposit yet as long winded ID requirements. Can I now open an ISA with a different provider who I suspect will be easier to open with as she has had account there before?

Yes you can. The restriction is flat you can only subscribe new money to one cash ISA each tax year."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett
