Bella, many congrats on your new grandson, hope they can go home.
Many thanks for the anniversary wishes!
TA welcome back after your trip.Gers safe journey
Not much to report, DH enjoyed his steak & stilton pie. Hopefully he has nearly finished pricing up for now. We picked up DGS from school, he kept us amused in his own inimitable way Same again today, he is staying at DS as his DM is away with work. Better put the bm on - he loves his Grans toast.
We put an old wardrobe on fb market place but had no luck, it's an arts and craft satinwood one but had no offers. It's a shame it has to go but we needed a bigger option for the space. Nice for an old cottage or house and we paid a few hundred from an antique dealer when we got it
Coffee calls now, hope you all have a good day x

Ooh Rosyred, I love arts and craft furniture. Chris and Crystal used to rent a house built in that style in Letchworth, it had a lot of original features and was beautiful but it was only 1 bedroomed.
Bella, fingers crossed for your daughter going home, I was in the same boat when I had Laura, they let me home after 2 days because I begged and my GP was cross because I had been so ill.
TA, enjoy Skipton, I was there on Sunday and it was heaving.
Safe travels Gers.
Yesterday was fairly quiet. I had my flu jab, saw the pharmacist and got some cream for my neck. Then I made a batch of leek and potato soup and for dinner made my version of a carbonara. I took Esben and Ziggy for a walk up the nearby hills which took about twice as long as normal because Esben was burying one of his toys, pretending to be stuck and needing to be rescued by the winch (Ziggy's lead) and tying us both up with the lead so that we couldn't walk.
Today Laura has an osteo appointment and then wants to go and look at pushchairs because Esben's is wrecked and won't survive another baby (it's a very lightweight one and has seen a lot of service).
