Loganair Consistently refusing refund and won't answer emails

Help required with Loganair refund. I was unable to travel to get my flight due to covid travel restrictions stopping me get to the airport at the very start of the first lockdown. It was return flights from Glasgow to Orkney for a one off family event. According to the CAA I should due a refund. I have been emailing Loganair since it happened and they have consistently refused to refund and are now say that the matter is closed. They have always taken months to answer each time. At first they offered a 6 month extension but we were into the next lockdown. I know 2 people that have received refunds but they have never done that with me. I don't know how to proceed within the Scottish legal system. It's nearly £500. Low earner and life is getting hard enough without being owed money by a large company. I'll make a large donation to my local foodbank if successful. Thanks

If th4 flight operated I don't think you are entitled to a refund.
Any refund would be a goodwill measure ,which they do not appear to be offering, or a travel insurance claim if you had appropriate cover..

there was an investigation on whether airlines should have offered refunds when flights operated during lockdown, can read it here https://www.gov.uk/cma-cases/covid-19-cancellations-airlines0
