Hi all,
Just after some advice really!
I'm on Intelligent Octopus for my electric and the tariff in the title for my gas.
My gas tariff is 7.48p/kWh & 27.22p per day.
Should I be looking to get a fixed with Octopus (what tariff can I expect), or is it best to remain on the flexible?
Thanks all!

Going to be a few more days before anyone can give you a definitive answer, but the odds are you may as well stay put on the flexible tariff for the gas given the current level of the fixed tariffs and the likely range that they could be adjusted by, if that happens...

Thanks MWT, what news I am looking out for which would determine what will happen with prices?

The news is still filtering out, but with the most recent updates it looks like the new cap is also going to be the floor for any adjustments to fixed rates above the cap, so unless you can find a fix that is currently below the new cap, you may as well stay on the flexible rate.
I am also pretty sure there are no fixes currently available that are lower than the new cap for gas...

    Still relevant?
I'm on Octopus Flexible which is now 10.46p/kWh & 26.84p/day
  • My recent bill says Flexible Gas will be cheaper, but there seem to be no details online I can find about this tariff, I've looked in all the obvious places could be now is not the best time to be looking as things seem haywire....
