Has anyone got the Which carseat safety report?

Had a big crash on Friday which means I have to buy a new car seat. As Jacob is huge at 2.5, want to get a carseat which will last if possible. Evolva 123 won't fit in a Zafira (if the car gets repaired and not written off), so it is between the Junior Traveller or the Recaro Young Sport. Has anyone got a copy of this years report as want to check the reports on these two cars. I know I can do a £1 trial but though in the best MSE fashion to try here first!

Hi , I did have the report till my 2 yr old decided to use my laptop as a potty and blew it up ! :eek: Anyway what I can tell you is that the harness on the Recaro only goes up to 18 kgs and if your child is anything like mine and weighs in at 36lbs at 2 yrs 3 months then buying that seat will be no good to you . the only 2 seats on the market where the harness goes above this is the junior traveller ( Harness goes up to 25 kgs ) and the Junior traveller plus ( Harness goes up to 36kgs )

I had to buy the traveller as my DD outgrew her Maxi Cosi priori by the age of 20 months .

Both the Britax seats were not tested as they are classed a special needs seats , aimed at the children who need more support from a seat as they both have extra padding and who still need a harness as well .

If I can get him on the scales, then I think he will be 2- 2.5 stones as have weighed us together! The junior traveller it is then........

How bad that children with special needs don't get the same checks on their seats though...

ive never heard of either of the carseats you mention but the recaro is scored.
