So having seen the price cap limit announced last week still no idea if anything will apply here in NI, and doesn't look like parliament are gona be sitting before Oct 1 so likely we are getting hammered with the increase.
Not really sure how it all works but we are pay as you go meter, wondered if I would be best trying to fill up on gas/electric now as much as possible before the increase on Oct 1st? Would that even make a difference?

Some suppliers say new pre-pay tariffs take effect from the 1st October, where as others say they take effect from the first top-up on or after 1st October So depends who you are with.

I'm with SSE for gas and electric, I have some money set aside so was planning on just throwing it in to my gas/electric cards before Oct 1st if it would save me anything.0
