Can anyone advise please . We were transferred to EDF deemed tariff when our fixed deal ended in April 2022. Should they have automatically transferred us to there standard variable rate ? . They not taken any money for our usage and we’ve not received a bill despite sending meter readings . In this energy crisis this is is not helpful . I would really appreciate some advice .

You will have been transferred to the SVR unless you elected otherwise. EDF only bill 6 monthly so you won't see the billing until then. Your on line account and the app will show your current tariff and rates.

Yes, if your fixed deal has ended you will now be on their deemed tariff - the capped SVT.Do you have an on-line account with EDF? What does it say there regarding tariffs and meter readings?N. Yes I have the app . We’ve sent meter readings and that hasn’t even updated . In the current climate with energy bills being so high how is this even acceptable . Is this standard practice ?0

You are on the standard variable rate and you are being billed at the same frequency as other EdF customers on that tariff.aliciaoggy said:Yes I have the app . If you pay by DD, EDF take payments every month bit only bill every six months. Is this what they are doing for you?

Thankyou for all the replies , I really appreciate you’re feedback . I don’t agree with this way of dealing with customers in the current climate I really think that EDF needs ti address this tariff , I really don’t think it’s good enough to recieve two bills a year , no updates on bills when you send a meter reading .0

That bit doesn't sound right - I've been giving EDF readings at month end and they have updated instantly - altho' haven't managed to persuade them to issue an updated bill !!aliciaoggy said:Yes I have the app . I think most of us would agree with you on that, it's a relatively regular complaint here.aliciaoggy said:I really don’t think it’s good enough to recieve two bills a year .1
