CCJ

Hi,
Short version: wondering how much a £900 CCJ affects credit rating to mortgage lenders for an otherwise perfect credit history? How easy is it to set aside? I see so many posts refer to set aside advice, but I can't find any.
Long version: I'm feeling really stressed trying to read around this car parking CCJ topic on the forum and finding myself going in circles. I have a CCJ of approx £900 for private parking fines. There were issued to maiden name to an old address (for private parking at my old address). Subject access requests showed me there are 4 tickers, 2 out of 4 are possibly legit (parking outside a space whilst loading for moving house) and 2 were issued as they didn't take a decent photo showing my parking permit in my windscreen. They were issued such a long time ago that no one has proof I had a permit. Legal advice said I could probably contest for part of the claim but would cost me an outlay of £300 to set aside CCJ etc before going to court. I missed the original date due to not knowing about them. I found out about the CCJ when I went to sort my last mortgage fix and the financial advisor said I would not be in a position to speak to other lenders whilst CCJ is there. But if I pay it off it remains there right? Is there actually a way out of all of this?

Set aside, but we will also need to know why hood vehicle received parting charge notices, the name of the parking company and in who's car park the parking charges were issued in.
If this is a residential case then you may be on good ground. From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"2 -
The CCJ will be on your record for 6 years even if you pay it off - but it will be marked as satisfied. How many years ago was the claim made? Are you anywhere near it timing out?If the PPC didn’t send the claim to the correct address (because you had moved) you can apply to the courts for a mandatory set aside. Costs £275 which you can ask to be refunded and then you may get the opportunity to defend the original claim(s). Search the forum for recent CCJ threads.2
