Push it back to the sellers. They need to remove the charge or no sale.2

Another address:
Canada Square Operations
PO Box 4903
Worthing
BN99 3AR
However, this is not your issue to solve. The seller/seller's solicitor have to resolve this.2 -
Canada house handled Egg PPI claims, the Worthing address I think. They maybe aren't,t involved with every aspect of Egg's remaining loose ends.
When I got my Egg PPI repaid (thanks to MSE) I think the company formerly known as Egg were named on my paperwork, if I still have it and can find it I'll let you know. My first hunch was The Pru (prudential), but my first hunches are often wrong. Is there nothing on a search of "who took over Egg?"1 -
My Egg account was transferred to the Yorkshire Building Society - they got Savings and Mortgages only I believe.2

These things often get batched up and go in several directions - as posted above, in this case it's Citibank who are the creditors in respect of whatever the charge is about.Titus_Wadd said:Canada house handled Egg PPI claims, the Worthing address I think. Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.1 -
Thank you so much to everyone who has responded, I shall pass details back to the estate agent. The worthing address has been written to already and there has not been a response.
I am aware that this isn't my place to sort out, I am aware though that the time limits on mortgage offers are vastly approaching and just trying to help move things along as much as I possibly can.0 -
If it helps, my Egg credit card was transferred to Barclays.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. With respect, the estate agent cannot help you. You need your solicitor's advice here.0
