I purchased football kits online from Soccerlord.se.  The football shirt arrived, it has loads of dirt marks (it does not look like brand new) and also it is fake.  I reported to the seller, she agreed if I post it back by 2nd class, I will receive the money back including postage.  I followed her instruction.  They refund me the item but did not refund me the postage.  I keep chasing and chasing but she totally ignored my email.  The postage was paid by cash so I can't chase my bank. Any advice please ?

Are they even based in the UK? For the amount of money involved I'd just move on and forget about it. At least you got a refund.

At about £30 a shirt, this is less than HALF the price of a genuine one, so it was clearly going to be fake.

Also, the website has no contact number, no business address... you can't even be sure it is a UK company. What address did you return the shirt to?

If they are a UK company then they should be refunding your return postage too as the item was not as described.

They actually get decent reviews online (Trustpilot). It might be worth just letting this go and leaving a 1* review from them letting others know what was actually sent.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • They asked me to send back to UK charity shop. No idea where do they base.  I think they pay money for good reviews.  hard to let go it is about trust and promise.

    .se is for Sweden.
I would have been alerted to a non-uk company by the delivery timescale and the cost of delivery.
I think under the circumstances, I'd be happy with the £30 refund and be more wary in future.

You can report companies like this, and I really hope you will.

As born_again says above - it seems as if they are based in Sweden but they are selling in the UK and you can report them using info in the following link -

They must have an address in the UK, since you said you posted the kit back by second class post.

You can also contact them using their internet contact page - is that the way you contacted them originally? I would let them know I was going to report them for fraud.

They don't want to return your postage but I think that's quite a common thing with disreputable companies.

If you know that the items are definitely fake please don't just move on and forget about it because other people will be defrauded in the future. Report them.
