    Hi everyone

@DawnW - so very sorry for your losses

Another lazy day as whatever infection appears to be affecting my heart (so yet again I have to take things easy) but today's small things

    Checked Bank & made PAD
    Swagbucks
Claimed £10 Airtime Rewards (extremely passive app)
    Entered a few comps
    Purged a few emails
Listed to a couple of plays on BBC Sounds for free
    All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
    Checked: PMP, WinaDinner, Freejackpot, Daali

Not a great deal managed or even exciting but every small action does help, have dug flask out of back of cupboard to start using tomorrow when boiling kettle.

    Afternoon folks

Bit of a change of plans last night. OH hadn't cooked any dinner (which I expected tbh as he's stopped cooking). We went out for a hot chocolate and then picked up some sushi from the new fresh counter at Asda for tea. Don't bother - save your money. It wasn't nice. Totally flavourless imho (although my niece raves about it!).

OH is pretty down at the moment. I've been quite concerned about him for a while. He didn't do well throughout the pandemic, then he was totally overworked for 6 months after the lockdown ended. He's got no oomph at the moment. Barely does anything apart from work and sleep but always seems to be in a rush. He knows he's not thriving but seems to be unwilling to acknowledge that he has any control over the matter.

    Anyhoo, back to MSE things.
 Gym 2/3 - already paid for so better use them
    B/L/D from stores
 WFH so no petrol spend
 Turned off dehumidifier. It really draws a lot of elec in terms of money used now that the rates are so high.
 Try to generally use as little elec as possible
 Prep some things for tomorrow's tea

    Non-MSE things:
:warning: OH working so petrol spend there. Also used petrol going to the gym

    Other things
:cookie: Go for short lunchtime walk and after work walk - I need to get back into this habit
    :cookie: Should do some dusting
:cookie: Some knitting this evening to chill out

    Have a good one all

Hope your OH feels better soon @carrielovesfanta. I think everything is a bit depressing at the moment, with everyone apprehensive about what the winter will bring etc. A more cheery day for me today, but I don't seen to have for much done. A short list from me today:
Walked dog, not far as it was threatening rain again, and he would accuse me if attempted murder of he got wet.
Washed my hair and let it dry without using any electric equipment ( I may have an elderly hair dryer somewhere...)
Pegged the washing out as it decided not to rain.
Shopping at L*dl. Not much needed this week, but I did buy some ingredients to make mincemeat for Xmas.
A bit in the garden. Pruned and weeded the potted bay tree, and reported a blueberry into a bigger pot.
I still have to sort out the fridge and larder, and freeze anything that could potentially be wasted.

  • hi guys, I'm ok it just gets frustrating when your working really hard to pay off debt, surveys, switching things off when not being used and then the price of things goes up.  I'm very grateful not to have to worry about the price of gas as there's no gas supply to our house, we have a coal fire.

    Today I have/will:

    1.  Check online banking
    2.  Research cheapest place to buy cat food
    3.  NSD
    4.  Surveys
    5.  Update phone, tablet and laptop and scan with free antivirus
    6.  Meals from stores
    7.  Keep electricity usage as low as possible

    Morning folks

It's my last day in today thank goodness. Brain is definitely winding down. Plus I slept like a log last night and was woken up from a deep sleep by my alarm. It's unusual for me to sleep that late so I obviously need it.

I nearly cracked last night and bought tea but I popped some tunes on, prepped a load of veg and we had chicken, mash and veggies. I really need to force myself back into the cooking habit.

    Today's things:
    B/L/D from stores
 Getting a lift home with colleague.
 OH doing a couple of lessons
    Charge phone in work
    Print document in work

    Spendy things:
:warning: Working in the office so petrol spend this morning

    Other:
    :cookie: Do some knitting later

    Afternoon all, What. a. WEEK.

Super duper busy been doing 6am until 3pm shifts due to sickness and holidays, good thing though as it throws me in at the deep end so I guess I’ll either sink or swim. Seems all good so far and I’m far less stressed! I even got to leave at 2.30 today due to my Manager being impressed on how chill I’ve handled sicknesses and stuff and just got on with it. also we get Monday off so I can catch up on sleep! Back at sainsburys tomorrow for my second shift, we’ve got new managers which I don’t like so I just put headphones in and listen to Audible until the shop opens to customers.

    to do

put towels in the wash - done
    put towels on the line
    put dishwasher on
put petrol in - done, it was 1.51 so I filled my car to the brim, got 400+ miles
Put screen wash in the car
make a meal plan for next week

    sorry for the long post!

    Busy day at work!
Collected my laptop, which had been repaired, before work and paid the bill, so definitely not a no spend day. All fine again now, and quicker, though I had to remember / reset all my passwords :#
Sandwich to work for lunch, just about had time to eat it.
Pasta with HM tomato sauce for dinner
OH had done some cleaning while I was at work, so that was a win!
