No. Ignoring a PCN has not been the advice since 2013, almost a decade ago!
See the advice in the NEWBIES thread. Easy to cancel using PLAN A.
And it's not a fine.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yea, I know. Except I've avoided them post 2013, like many others, without call back.Coupon-mad said:No. Ignoring a PCN has not been the advice since 2013, almost a decade ago!

And it's not a fine. You have been lucky so far then Parking Eye are the most litigious PPC going, one sign they may not pursue it to court is if they get a debt collector involved, if they don't they go straight into small claims mode.Your decision/risk obviously.

Any of the hardcore still playing hard to get 💋and ignoring?💪If you mean by 'hardcore', the regulars here, we're all playing 'hard to get'. Hard to get by the parking firms because we avoid car parks infested by private parking firms, and where that isn't practical, we read and comply with the signage. None of us are private parking anarchists, ignoring signage and chancing our arms by ignoring any parking charge received. We certainly do not recommend that approach, especially for those who fly by the seat of their pants, yet know naff all about how to deal with this stuff. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

What we do to beat the worst conduct of PPCs (long term) is a heck of a lot more fruitful than ignoring them!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
