  • Tesco took just over £4 worth of vouchers from me today, including the Müller one (but then again, I did actually buy that product). They didn't take the King of Shaves lady vouchers, though. Wasn't the cashier's fault, as he did try scanning them through. The till wouldn't accept them. I gave the Best magazine away, forgetting to grab the £1 off Oxy voucher. :( Still, I only paid 35p for my copy of Best, as I ripped it open and grabbed the Best voucher out of Zing to pay for it at the till. ;)

    Cheers op.

i haven't checked if asda actually sell that shaving gel though, the lad wasn't paying much attention, he just scanned the coupons. i assume the title £8.60 in coupons includes those ones for juice that can't be used in asda/tesco? or were there more in the mag i didn't spot?

an excellent coupon haul and somebody is going to use both warwick castle 2 for 1's as well so well worth it! my local shop hasn't got any more copies, i might have to go back into town tomorrow but most coupons don't expire for a few weeks so it's worth the effort :-)

I know that Sainsburys sell the King of Shaves products, not too sure about their policy of accepting coupons though. If you actually want to buy the items then get yourself down to sainsburys!

I think half the world knows about these coupons, I found two rather large gaps where the Best mags should have been in Tesco the other day, luckily my Mum picked one up for me today, good old Mum!!

I was about to ask if any asda shoppers wanted to swop a load of king of shaves vouchers for wilkinson razer ones as I shop at tesco, then I realised for 35p I can just buy another BEST rather than both parties pay for a first class stamp LOL.

I still have like £18 worth of king of shave vouchers though!!

Yep definite glut of King of Shaves coupons. Used all the others in Tesco yesterday but they were sold out of Best so I nipped down to WH Smith and they had 8 left - I am now busy cutting coupons.

Has anyone tried the King of Shaves stuff - is it worth buying?

i've seen king of shaves vouchers on sale on ebay, might be worth selling them?

i got another 4 mags yesterday, while queueing i took the best vouchers out of the mags so i got the 4 mags for half price. in total i had 6 lots of coupons so i bought 6 of the muller yoghurt and put them through on their own before my shopping (otherwise they would have counted towards the 10% of vouchers i would be able to use on my main shop). the assistant put in 39p i think for each voucher but because the muller is on special at 3 for 99p i ended up with a credit balance of 40p, the assistant just laughed and let me choose something from my main shop to put through so i got the 40p taken off my pork pie, got it for pennies :D

i can only use ten percent in vouchers on each shop so i don't think i'll use any more vouchers than i have before the july expiry but it's probably still worth buying more magazines if i can find them - if each mag is 35p there's still a profit to be made on a couple of the vouchers with longer expiry dates (august, september and december). i've used one of each to check my asda will take them. there's the bic soleil one, the burgen one and the oxy one so that's £1.75 in vouchers even if you don't use any of the others before july, worth paying 35p for the mag for that. i don't know the yoghurt expiry date because i used all my vouchers.

Noted that the Tesco specific vouchers scan even though I hadn't bought the products which is unususal.

As I have some of these king of shaves vouchers I looked in wilkinsons at the there range for men.

Shaving oil £1.75, Shaving gel stuff in a tube £1.99 and shaving gel in a can £1.59. so if you are looking to stock for stocking fillers you can do them cheaply by using the £1 voucher.

Note I have not used them yet in wilkinsons but I assume they will take them. if anyone has tried it please let me know.

I think the King of Shaves are going to be a problem with me also. I wonder if anyone wants to do a straight swap, like for like with any other non store specific coupons?

Or maybe if someone is going to try and sell theirs on ebay they could bundle mine in with theirs?

Typical isn't it. One week I dont have a coupon to my name and the next coupons come from all directions, magazines and in the post yet hardly any cupboard/fridge/freezer space.
