Tescos will accept the Muller Voucher but ONLY if you exchange it for one of the yoghurts that it details - as it doesn't have a barcode.
The others all went through Tescos fine (the manufacturer ones) except for the King of Shaves lot - these came up with a no beep on the till so I guess they dont sell the specific products. This is odd as on the back of the coupon it says Tescos stock them.
The best are the £2 off wilkinson razor and 50p ones - my cashier put all of these through for me today lol. £15 in total off my £70 shop which was a £97 shop before BOGOF reductions - W00T0 -
Tried using the Roahld Dahl ones today in Tesco and they were given back to me. Didn't notice they say Exclusive to Superdrug or Boots on them!0

Has anyone else had the King of Shaves vouchers refused?0 -
Tried the Tesco ones from Best at Asda (as they have signs up saying they take Tesco vouchers). However they were refused, when I asked her why she stated that they only take the Tesco Basket vouchers (eg £5 off a £50 spend voucher). I said I thought this was misleading (I have never had a problem before) so she asked the supervisor and she confirmed this rule. Getting fed up with Asda as they are getting really fussy. Anyone else notice Asda getting more fussy?
Only other one I have tried is the free Muller voucher which went through fine.0 -
I phoned Asda today (in Derby) and asked them to outline their coupon policy to me (its a huge Asda Walmart there so I figured they might know more than most lol). The customer services manager said that they accept total spend vouchers from competors - Tescos etc £5 off of £50 spend... but not the individual product&supermarket vouchers (i.e. 60p off Lime Coke at Tescos). For manufacturers vouchers (i.e. 25p off Bergen bread), they will take 2 from each manufacturer without you buying the product - so better than Tescos there.
Am very interested to see if the King shaving vouchers get accepted anywhere. It was like the beep when you haven't bought the product - as Tescos SHOULD stock these products.....but could have been becuase it wasn't part of their stock I suppose. Anyone else got any experiences?0 -
I dont know if this has already been posted but in the latest copy of "Best" magazine there is a booklet with nearly £9.00 of usable coupons/money off vouchers to use on shopping  :cool:0

There's quite a large thread about this that was posted on the 14th June.

I used 2 of these today at Asda no problem. I picked a tired looking student and my total cash spend was 44p!
I find that if you pick a young check out person they are very likely to accept all the vouchers without looking at them too carefully, and I mostly get the lot taken. I very rarely hand over more than £1 in cash once the coupons are redeemed.
You have to be confident and rather 'Derren Brown-ish'..."you will accept these coupons........."
Going back to get another Best, using a coupon, of course!!!!0 -
my asda only takes ten percent in coupons and i only did a small shop today but they did accept the king of shaves coupon i gave them (the pink one for woman shaving gel), they also accepted the green wilkinson 50p one and the 50p bic one (on page 24 of the magazine, not part of the tear out coupon section in the middle) and the £1 oxy coupon from inside the best magazine. i actually got around 20% off my shopping, the checkout lad didn't seem to care but it's usually ten percent.
i make that £8.10 worth of coupons and a free yoghurt usable in asda although i haven't checked them all yet. i used the best coupon in smiths on my way home, bought another copy of best so in all today i've spent £1.05 and got £15.85 worth of coupons and 2 free yoghurts. even if the other coupons don't work at least i know that the £2.50 i used today are okay for using on my shop at the weekend :-)52% tight0
