Where have these new SVRs been published ?? I can't find any official figures ???
    https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/energy-bills-support/energy-bills-support-factsheet-8-september-2022
That "fact" sheet also says that fixes will be reduced by 17p/kwh for electric and 4.2p/kwh for gas - I don't think so !!
There is doubt about that, certainly.  But you asked where the figures came from, and that's the answer to your question
Wasn't casting aspersions @Spoonie_Turtle - just pointing out that the paragraph about fixed tariffs in the "fact" sheet is very unlikely to be true for all . No definition of recent energy price rises - I fixed electric in May and gas in June - is that defined as "recent" for instance ?
I assumed from previous comments ,that something official had been published today.

Remember that it was also said that the price freeze will be for "UPTO 2 years", it's a bit confusing what that could mean. It could mean that if prices come down they won't need the freeze, but it could also be removed and have higher prices?
EON are still saying my electric will still be 59p/kWh in October, I'm going to wait a while to see what it drops to before asking them to put us on SVT (doesn't start until October anyway)
