Rebed roof verge, fix wonky fascia boards, realign guttering

Hi, was hoping to check a roofing quote for SE England... I've had the roofer in question do work for me before and he's always struck me as a great bloke and honest, but I can't help but feel like the quote is high and was hoping to sanity check it. I think there are a few things that complicate the job that I can't describe well because I just don't really understand, so as long as the quote isn't crazy I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt.

  • Scaffolding included

  • Remove existing gable end tiles and re-bed

  • Make good the fascia boards on the gable end

  • Re-align the guttering to the front of the property

Quote is for £2280 inc. VAT

Many thanks to anyone who has time to comment

Comments

  • Clarifying the fascia board point... at the moment they're quite poorly aligned and stick out below the roof verge in two places. I tried to post links to the photos but just realised I can attach them so have done so to this comment
  • OK, sorry, THIS comment... not the last one

  • Scaffolding £800, two days labour for two roofers, £900, £200 for materials/waste disposal, is £1,900 plus vat, £2,280 in total.
That's exactly what I would quote, if the plastics are being re-used, it's quite time consuming as extra care needs to be taken not to damage it all.
Hope it's not the same person that did the original installation because it's pretty poor!
