Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Now light, dry underfoot.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Lunch yesterday was roast pork very nice it was too. Tonight will be chicken - not sure what I'm going to do with it as yet.
Back to work this morning, will see what is happening.
Keep safe and and well x

Morning All
It's a damp start here but should brighten up later. Washing is on the pulley as we had heavy rain yesterday afternoon.
I had fun with the little one over the weekend but it's quite exhausting! We went for a walk yesterday morning to the recycling bins, it took over an hour! I did a bit of housework after she had gone home but ran out of steam so sat and watched the Queen's journey before a very early night.
Hope everyone is well and you have a good Monday. Take care. XX9 -
Afternoon / morning all. It's almost 3.45pm here.Although it's warm there's lots of cloud, little sun and a light breeze. It's a very strange start to spring in QLD.It's my SIL's 70th birthday, she's spent a lot of the day shovelling gravel round her almost finished tiny house along with her cousin and her partner. Meanwhile my nephew and I went to see his four young children who are with their mother in Gympie as I wanted to say goodbye to them. I was very sad!
Tonight we're going out for a birthday dinner so I'm just about to have a little snooze to prepare myself. We'll probably end up at the same place as last time as we really enjoy it.Camelot - I hope that you can catch up on your sleep.Nelski - that's a tight deadline, you seem to be on the ball.Bella - how's your DD2 doing?
Hugs to all. Happy Monday.9 -
Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.It.s not a bad morning here, yesterday was ok as well.Gers, it's sad leaving relatives when they live so far away. When we've left our family in Australia I dread the moment of parting.Sounds like you had a good time with your little dgd Camelot, precious moments aren't they. Our youngest gc is starting full time school today, so it's the start of a new era for him.Nothing much happening here today, just general housework, and I'll nip to the shops.Hope everyone has a good day today, take care folks.9

Morning
You're right Gers its a very tight deadline worryingly tight. I was going to have a day away from it all today but the buyer now wants access to get a quote from a company for a new ensuite. I'm conscious that next week is a bank holiday so this week is the last chance really. Most of the smaller stuff is gone now so I need a good look around to make sure nothing is missed. The big stuff will go next week.
This morning I have to get some of my house things done so a wash is on and one more waiting. I will pack up some food that needs eating and take that to save another delivery. Hoping I can escape back tomorrow but that will depend on how much is left to do.
Catch up later have a good day all10 -
Good morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
Dry and bright here. I have DS2's uniform on a hot wash as he's working tonight and tomorrow and only has two sets of uniform. We started wallpapering the hallway yesterday and have done about half, so will continue after WFH tonight. Hoping to have it finished by the end of the week. Carpet and flooring company threatened to cancel the order on Friday unless we take delivery in the next 2 weeks. Given we paid 50% cash up front and have made 3 of the 12 IFC payments they can bog off! We told them at the time of ordering it would be a while before we were ready.
I am making SW pork keema tonight with rice. I stayed the same on Saturday, and given I've had cake and chocolates over the weekend, I need to be good this week! @dp1 I will message you about the salmon and pea pasta.
Hope DD2 is okay @bellabella - not much fun but not long to go now.
Hope all goes well at DMum's house @Nelski x
Have a good day all,
Coxy

Dry and bright here, i washed one of the dogs beds last night and that is now on the line and Ive put another load in the machine which can be hung out later.
One client coming today the other one has an appointment so is starting next Monday now, think we will make a cake then go out for a picnic lunch and then make some salt dough, the client today cant walk too far so we mainly need to be home based.

Morning
Enjoying a few days off work. Can anyone give me any tips on how to keep a white dog clean. She is only little so soon gets very muddy. Walked 3 miles this morning.
On my morning walk, got some crab apples to make Jelly with and another courgette from the surplus box on the allotments so will use that in a sauce with meatballs tonight.Nelski - hopefully when everything is sorted you can manage some rest.
Gers - sounds like you had an amazing time.
Camelot - I agree grandchildren are exhausting. My Dd2 has 2 boys both very lively.
Bella - hope your dd is doing ok, thinking of you.
hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care8 -
Afternoon chums ,youngest DD tested positive this morning and I'm hoping it will be OK, as she did look rough last night I go to dinner there every Sunday and so tested this morning but all ok so far. She's had three vaccines and has never caught it at all
but one of her staff was poorly last week so she thinks its from them.
I'm due my fifth booster shot next month so have everything crossed at the moment.
Did a wash this lunchtime, as the weather is really warm still so hopefully I will get it off the line shortly and finish it off on the airer in the conservatory.
If I still test clear tomorrow its coffee morning for me at my local Dobbies. I will steer clear of the deli part if I can unless they have some reductions as I want to get my shopping on Wednesday.
Eldest DD just phoned to say her director is pleased as she managed to source 600 black armbands for the staff. Its a company that deals with the public on many levels and the company wish the staff to wear them if they want to.
I think many shops will close next monday and people will be glued to their TVsI remember going with my late mother and two brothers when the Queens Father died to Westminster to see the coffin lying in state, but I don't think a 12 hour queue would be very good for me now at my age, I was considerably younger back in 1952, although I can remember we had to queue for ages even then
