Thanks all for advice,  I emailed estate agent and said I would terminate sale because of lack of communication and unreasonable demands etc.  We have no come to an agreement that the buyer will try and get mortgage offer sorted by end of September, and sort rest out then, I am not trying to get out of paying fees but if there is lack of communication to me about my house sale then I feel I have grounds to be concerned, the same thing is happening to my neighbours who are also selling through same agent.  I will give estate agents/buyers to sort it out but if I lose my park home to buy then I will have to pull out anyway or else I will be homeless. Find it offensive that people think I am trying to afford fees, not all estate agents are easy to deal with and this one is well known in South East area.

No, people are pointing out that the Estage Agent isn't responsible for the  buyers "unreasonable demands" and how changing agents won't change that.

People do what's best for themselves. If you wanted to complete on a Tuesday and the other side wanted to complete on a Wednesday, would you see yourself as being unreasonable or doing what's best for yourself?

Think people are just trying to get across to you that being frustrated with your buyer doesn't necessarily have any connection with the EA's contract, and it's a bit confusing if you start conflating the two issues.

Ok sorry,  just have felt that estate agents are looking after their interests more than ours.

You might well think that but you haven't really explained how.  You cite lack of communication, fair enough, but that's just about customer service and competence -  how do you expect them to change the buyer's mind on timescales?

So you're angry with the estate agent, but you haven't really explained why you think terminating the estate agent's contract will help. (So people have been trying to guess what you're thinking.)

In what way do you hope things will get better, if you terminate the contract?
