Can I set up a direct debit on a Chase savings account?

I know that I can set up scheduled payments on my Chase savings account.

Does anyone know if I can set up direct debits on the savings account or would that only work on the current account?

On the actual ‘save’ account, no. But on the spend accounts you can. I asked them.

Just give the company the sort code and account number of your Chase savings account.

Thanks. Did they say you can't give out the sort code/acc no of a 1.5% account when setting up a dd?

I have six direct debits running off one of my Chase Savings accounts and all have paid this month, as expected. 

It works.

i asked in chat about this a while back and yes you can set up dd from the 1.5% savings account.
