So where does it take you then ?
Try Yahoo Mail as a direct link.
Also try clearing the cache and temporary files.“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
Cleared cookies etc. Tried going straight to mail.
All that happens is Yahoo mail ident comes up at the top of the page. Then just flashes. The address bit at the top of the screen on the blue line and in the little 'button' created on the bar on the bottom (very technical :rotfl: ) flashes between Sign in to Yahoo and the web address.

I can sign in fine. But then I'm not using Internet Explorer (or windows for that matter).
What browser are you using and have you got cookies enabled?
Richard was having problems with a site the other day. I'm not sure if he got it sorted but it sounded like it might be Norton or the BT software getting in the way.
EDIT: IE7 on XP signs in fine for me as well.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I'm using IE.
DH was mucking about with things the other day and now quite often when I click on a new site a box pops up to ask if I will/won't allow cookies. Could this be it. Don't have that box when I log in here BUT I am having trouble staying logged in!! Hmm! what the @@@@ has he done?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Just tried signing in with cookies disabled and I get:
"The browser you're using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected)"
But I do get a sign/log in page to start off with, and I do get that sensible error message.
So probably not cookies causing a problem (at least not all of it).

I know.
I stopped using IE ages ago because it was a pain (or at least I personally found it to be).
In the IE options it might be worth trying:
General tab > Browsing history "delete button" > then "delete all"
Security tab > "Reset all zones to default level"
Privacy tab > click "default"
Advanced tab > "restore advanced settings"
From what I remember that should undo most things that might have been altered.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
