Agile/Tracker - How will the New Rates affect it?

I'm on Octopus Agile at 55p for electric and Tracker at 16p for gas.

Fixed til Aug 2023.

Are these rates likely to be discounted under the government scheme please?  Should I revert back to Octopus Flexible (SVT) now or ever or from 1st October?

So confused at the moment 😮‍💨

Thanks all

Remember Agile/Tracker isn't a fixed tariff its a variable with a cap and there are multiple versions of the tariff, at least 5 for Tracker not sure of Agile so it could have different outcomes depending on which version you are on as some early versions are way below the new cap, some are slightly above and the very recent ones are way above the new SVT cap level.

Octopus could choose to reduce the cap to the same level of the new SVT for those versions higher than the new cap.

Or they could reduce the cap by 17p for electric and 4.2p for gas and if its still higher than SVT level, they could give the choice to the customer if they wish to switch to the SVT.

The Energy Price Guarantee is quite complex to implement for no standard tariff like Agile/Tracker and maybe others like Go.
