Good afternoon fellow earth dwellers
In your household, who takes charge in ensuring people get Birthday cards/presents etc - ie for your side of the family and your OH's?

I do my side and he does his side.2

Me for everyone as he has a brain like a sieve.1

I do my side, he does his.
He mostly forgets all his side though..... 😂Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....1 -
I used to ‘do’ both sides. Now, I only do my own side.0

I do mine, "Mrs" L does hers. On reflection most we mostly individually message recipient on Facebook, but hardly ever buy presents. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

I do all Christmas cards. OH does his own family birthdays. They're not a close family anyway.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)0 -
I did the whole lot. Then as family grew older I found it more difficult to think of something for everyone so requested DH did his side.0

I remind him when he needs to buy a card - not very often as he has few relatives. I then remind him to write it and post it.
I sort out our boys, sometimes sending him to buy the cards. I do everyone else.
Sometimes I ask if he wants to send e.g. Get Well or sympathy cards to people I know of but don't really know. He says he does, but rarely manages it.Signature removed for peace of mind1 -
I do all children's cards/gifts for both sides
We do seperate birthday cards/gifts for family.
But in terms of events, I coordinate our attendance and ensure we are available and not double booked or that we are (should the need arise😆)1 -
I do most of the cards through the year for friends and family. Generally I get DH to write the cards for his family.
At Christmas, DH has always bought all the cards and writes for all his (enormous) family and friends. I write mine and buy a few special cards for our immediate family.
For events we've held at home it's a joint thing in terms of what to eat, drink, sending invitations, decorations etc. Going to events, we check that we're both available /want to attend. I generally sort out any gifts needed sometimes with discussion of what to buy/how much to spend unless an online purchase then DH does it.
Very general answers though. What/why specifically do you want to know? 🤔0
