Recently Fixed with Octopus - Feedback I hope is Helpful

Hi All

I recently decided to bite the bullet and fix with Octopus predicting there would be very little intervention from the administration and that the closure of NS1 would create more stress.

I asked Octopus to remove me from the fix (within 14 days) but they have recommended I wait, citing that when they understand how the subsidy will be applied I may actually be in a better situation than on variable (More details to follow).

In the meantime, critically, they have put in writing to me that anything I pay over the odds for (i.e. on my fix) in September, will be refunded to me at the start of the October 1st Conservative Cap period. So sit tight was their advice.

Hope this is helpful for anyone in a similar situation.

Ryan
