Chase scammers feeding fest.
There is a scam going around initially by text. Text says it’s from a delivery company and additional postage is required. Link from text takes you to what looks like a legit website. After putting in my app based CC details to pay the additional postage something felt not quite right. Wife checked on line number was a known about scam. Went through Chase CS and changed in app CC details.
Had the pleasure of a follow-up telephone call from the scammers tonight purporting to be chase. After a bit of banter chap on the other end put his hands up to being a scammer!
Not a bad result, be careful out there.

Why O Why would you reply or click the link.
Ive had 5 or 6 of these, Dpd, Evri, Royal Mail and DHL.
I just block them.
Everyone is a scammer until you prove they are not, Almost ever unsolicited email or text is a scam.
Treat it as such.11 -
This sort of scam can, and does, happen with any bank. Mainly because people still do let it happen.2

Be careful out there, if unsure ignore it, avoid clicking and providing any details.1 -

I don't think I could exchange banter with a scammer after he'd had my money.
Time for you to wise up and stop feeding these people!0 -
Suggest you remove Chase from the title, nothing to do with them4

What has this to do with Chase? You are probably on a (or a number of) scammers lists unfortunately & will get more from NatWest/Amazon/DHL etc1
