Just about sums up everything that is wrong with the way customers are treated, talk about making something simple complexIt is the other way around, the problems come from the press trying to make something complex. simple...Reducing the cap reports to a single number gives nobody useful information, so you have to wait for the detailed expansion of the plan to see the actual rates for each region, fuel, metering type and payment method...

Comparing average kwh and s/c's - before and after the new cap - is not meaningless and much more useful than comparing a theoretical £££ cap0

But what is much more useful is getting the actual numbers so that we can give real comparisons.wrf12345 said:Comparing average kwh and s/c's - before and after the new cap - is not meaningless and much more useful than comparing a theoretical £££ cap
I remember the pages of threads on this board with people saying "the cap on the news was 27p but I'm being charged 28.23p" and similar.0 -
Okay thanks. Just spoke to Sainsbury's and they said that due to the death of the queen the government has put back the final figures for about 2 weeks. Will have to wait and see. They also told me that my £150 credit can be taken off my first bill automatically. November I move onto state pension and my bank account will be much more healthy.0

Maybe it will take longer, maybe it won't. But I'm not going to base my decisions on what Kerry in customer services reckons this morning.4 -
I'm not listening to either. I'm waiting for the official publications from the government/Ofgem.PaulDesmond said:I am not listening to press releases. I am listening to the Prime Minister4
