APCOA LHR-T2, DRP, Someone else drove

Please be kind to read my questions please, I have read the stickies for last 2 days before posting this and I am requesting specific help.

Background:
  1. Letter received from Debt Recovery Plus asking for a PCN
  2. Thanks to this forum, understood that the culprit is V5 not updated.
  3. Checked PCN on APCOA, checked evidence. No chance of appealing on their website.
  4. Checked evidence, it was for the time and day when I was not in the country, I was holidaying somewhere else outside UK.
  5. At the time of contravention, the car was handed over to the Meet and Greet Parking. I have a proof of ordering the service.
  6. Called DRP to explain. They said "you can't appeal now. I should ask the driver to pay or you are liable to pay as registered keeper". I told them I can give them the name of the company to chase, but they won't take it.
  7. They said that they will make a note on the file that I will not pay.

Questions:
  1. Do you think I am liable as RC and yet / or have lost the time to file an appeal?
  2. Should I still appeal with APCOA using the 1st appeal template in blue text
  3. or shall I be appealing with POPLA
  4. or shall I wait to be dragged to court?
  5. The sticky note says that you shall not use post / royal mail. But APCOA website is not allowing me to lodge an appeal. What to do?
  6. If I should send by post then shall I use this APCOA address: APCOA PARKING (UK) LTD. Wellington House, 4-10 Cowley Road, Uxbridge, UB8 2XW
Many thanks in advance

Too late to appeal, forget it.

DRP are powerless - ignore them.
    4. or shall I wait to be dragged to court?
'Dragged'?  In a civil dispute about a few pounds?

APCOA have never 'dragged' anyone to court - ever.  Just forget about it. Nothing is going to happen, but if you ever get anything other than silly debt collectors and you want some reassurance, come back on this thread.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Do you think I am liable as RC
No - impossible - because (as the first post already tells you) APCOA are one of those PPCs that can't hold a keeper liable.

    They also never sue anyone!

    IGNORE.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
