£400 payment - Deceased

Slightly different question for a change ( hopefully ), I'm the executor of my brothers estate, the flat he lived in is for sale, and the energy supply is in the name of "The Executors of....."

I don't see any reason why the account won't get the £400, but as it'll only be using Standing Charge it's likely to have a credit?

Does this just mean that the estate is one of the winners rather than losers of this policy.....

Assuming it still goes ahead?

    Assuming nothing changes then yes, the estate will benefit if the £66 a month is higher than the actual bill for the month.

    However ,the estate will only get the £66pm credit up until the date of sale (as we currently understand the £400 rules until/if it changes @11:00am)
