I get my gas from british gas and electric from scottish power .
After reading martin's guide he says the money will not come off my bills but be paid into my bank account ..
£66 and £67 for 6 month's .
How will the two companies do this .
Will they put in £33 each .

Hi - the £400 is linked to your electricty bill, so you'll get your £66/67 from Scottish Power, either direct into your account or off your bill depending on how they're doing it.

You will only get it from Scottish Power. 2 x £66 and 4 x £67.

It will only be done through the electricity supplier.How it is paid depends on your electricity supplier and how you pay.1

My understanding is that 99.99% of people use mains electricity, but not not everyone has a gas supply.1
